Extreme Eastern Ontario Birding (EEO Birding) Forum
Some of you have expressed an interest in exchanging birding information. For the past 10 years, there has been a birding forum for this area called Extreme Eastern Ontario Birding (EEO Birding). There are about 50 members and among them, several local birders such Bill Radix, Michèle Stringer, members of the Cornwall Birding Club, Jacques Bouvier and I. Jacques is the forum administrator and if you wish to join send him a message at [email protected]
This forum is an educational tool and deals only with birds. Expect to receive 2 to 3 emails per day, sometimes more and sometimes less. Photos and audio can be included as well.
When posting a message you must follow these rules:
1. Write the bird species and its location on the subject line
2. For sensitive species such as owls include the general location only. Those wanting the specific location must send a private message to the finder. It is known that some unethical photographers have caused further injury to already overstressed birds leading to the bird's death.
3. Print and read the Ontario Field Ornithologists Code of Ethics. The welfare of birds is vital!!!
4. Birds reported must be within the Vankleek Hill and District Nature Society study circle which can be assessed at the following link
