This fundraiser is important to us because we use the funds to:


   - sponsor 2 students annually to attend the Ontario Nature Youth
      Summit


   - present a bursary to a graduating Secondary School student

   - pay for our guest speakers

   - educate the public through guided walks, and presentations


 
In the past, funds have been used to:

   - build and install an osprey platform in Voyageur Provincial Park

​   - provide information plaques and built fence around the base of 
      the osprey platform

   - build and install a memorial bench on the Alfred Bog Boardwalk

   - purchase bird guides and binoculars for local schools

The 2013 Fund Raising event was truly successful.

Thanks to Moad Enterprises for the sheep compost.  Always a favourite at the sale and it went very quickly.  If you missed getting some this year, there is always next year.  Mark Thursday May 15th, 2014 on your calendar.
